Live Music at Home: The Parties I've Loved Most This Summer

This summer I've been playing in all kinds of settings: festivals, music clubs, the usual stages. But what's really been catching my attention lately are private parties, in people's homes. A birthday, a wedding, any kind of celebration.
There's something really intimate about it. The music feels closer, more personal, without the distance of a stage or a big event. It's a different kind of connection with the people who are there.
I love bringing that Brazilian touch, which is where I come from, but always with room for a pinch of pop, Latin, bossa nova, depending on the mood of the party and the taste of whoever's celebrating.
And I especially love it when I get to put together the team of musicians myself, thinking through the repertoire and the lineup based on the mood of the party.
If you're thinking about live music for a party at home, get in touch. Let's talk about your idea.
